Converting images to PDF is essential for creating portfolios, scanned documents, receipts, digital archives, and ebooks. Our client-side PDF generator uses the industry-standard jsPDF library combined with native Canvas rendering. Unlike cloud-based converters, your data never leaves your computer — ideal for legal documents, medical records, or confidential artwork.
⚡ High-performance merging: combine dozens of high-resolution images into a compact PDF without quality loss. Maintains original image resolution up to the PDF page limits.
Our converter preserves image color profiles (sRGB) and uses vector-based scaling inside PDF to ensure crisp output. The contain mode maintains original aspect ratio with optional white/colored margins; cover mode fills the entire page (may crop edges); stretch mode fits full page ignoring aspect ratio. We also implement basic orientation detection to respect EXIF metadata from smartphone images. Each image is rendered onto a canvas, then embedded as a lossless (or JPEG compressed depending on image source) object inside the PDF, guaranteeing maximum fidelity. All calculations are performed using the browser’s native Image API.
A professional photographer needed to deliver a 25-image portfolio as a single PDF for a client. Using this tool, they imported high-resolution JPGs, arranged them in preferred storytelling order, selected A3 landscape with 15mm margins, and generated a 32 MB PDF in seconds. The result maintained exact color accuracy and allowed the client to view the entire series without sending individual files. The offline nature ensured confidentiality of unpublished work.
